To me there are two kinds of art, good art and bad art. I have seen many a educated artists create very bad art, and \"mentally Challenged\" folk who to todays standards would be clearly so called uneducated create extremely good art. There to me is no such thing as an artist just people who can elevate certain things into becoming an art form itself. Then again, what do I know? I am after all uneductaed. Art is ment to make you feel something, were does that require reading a book first?

Sorry, nothing personal (!), but your work is not my taste. I know how to manipulate polaroids and I think it's not very special, I appreciate it more when people know how to make a strong image without manipulation, just with something simple as a camera. That's much more difficult! But that's my opinion..

hey Carool, not everything is everyone taste. One I like paintings and this is as close to painting as I can get photography to be. I also have unmanipulated images as well, that being said I wont ever try and cater to anyone in any regard what so ever but always just do what I feel is me and right for me to feel happy with each image i create.

You could also say an unmanipulated image is a photographer only using what some one else proivides for them were as a manipulated image is the photographer taking complete control and taking everything provided for him and turning it into something no one else had seen except him!

You have manipulation and manipulation..maybe it's because I've almost never seen a painting I like..
The photos I see now are manipulated in another way and I like a lot of them!
Ofcourse you never have to cater to anyone, don't feel offended, that's just my taste and opinion and when you put pics on the internet you should be prepared for positive and negative criticism..
