I live on land that has been in our family since 1867 and am watching my part of rural Vermont rapidly disappear. I see things with a "grand old past" and a very dim future. That is the image I want and I manipulate that image to communicate what I feel. All goes back to the earth. There is loneliness and desolation that surrounds the dying.

Ok - so this is the new trend in American photography BUT you do it so WELL. Really quiet and beautifully still images. I share your romantic inclinations - or is that a wild guess?
