Photography has taught me to slow down and see what normally I would have only given a fleeting glance. Now I find myself surrounded by textures, patterns, color, and light. Shadows and forms take on remarkable characteristics and expressions. My subjects sneak up on me when I least expect it, but they are always there. I just have to find them.
