Panasonic Lumix
DMC-FX-55

by KEN BROWNE

The Panasonic Lumix line has been extended to include the new DMC- FX-55. The line of Lumixes includes their lens based image stabilisation which translates to no more blurred images
The camera detects up to fifteen faces and automatically select the focus

THE CAMERA is an 8.1MP with a LEICA 28-100 f /2.8 – 5.6 lens. There is also a three inch diagonal LCD screen with advanced subject-motion detection circuitry that senses the subject is moving, raising the camera's ISO sensitivity and shutter speed settings accordingly

A Noteworthy feature on the camera setting is the 'iA' - the camera will not only help eliminate blurring from hand shake or subject movement, but it will also detect up to fifteen faces and automatically select the focus. The Intelligent Scene Selector takes the guess work out of which scene to pick - it will automatically select which one is best suited for the situation. Available in an assortment of colours.
