AlienBees ABR800 Ringflash
Designed For Ease of Use

by Clair Janchote

The ABR800 is a new ringflash system designed to meet the challenges of the creative photographer.

A STUDIO ringflash is a useful tool for the professional due to its ability to produce mostly shadow-free lighting, and to reveal catchlights in the eyes of subjects when used in fashion or portrait work.

Compact, lightweight and designed for ease of use, the ABR800 can be used with professional or semi-professional cameras with lenses up to 4 inches in diameter.

Specs include:
• 320 Watt seconds
• 14,000 Lumenseconds
• 1 Second Recycle to Full
• Approx. 2.5 Pounds Total Weight

The ABR800 is a monolight ringflash that aims to make working with ringflashes more accessible. This is reflected in the reduced weight, integrated power and lower price. The ABR800 also includes a line of modifiers and accessories.
