THE SUPERSONIC Wave Drive, offers the 'world's fastest autofocus' when used with the Olympus keynote E-3. The Four Thirds sensor has enabled Olympus to produce lenses which perform to a higher standard than those optimised for other formats and this is a prime example of this superiority and one of the best standard zooms around with notable macro performance too.
There is discernible distortion at wide angle which would need skill to correct but this does not deflect from getting the best possible results a Four Thirds camera can achieve. Quality comes at a price but here it is worth every penny. A winning product.
