QP Card 102
Custom white balance setting in any light

by CLAIR JANCHOTE

Here at Photoicon we strongly urge ALL photographers to ALWAYS capture the first frame in a photo series with a gray card, for that perfect post-production white balancing.

THIS WAY you are more likely to reproduce human skin looking like human skin and avoid the unfortunate ‘pig skin’ effect so many do due to an incorrect white balance.

To help achieve accurate and consistent color is the QPcard 102. Larger than the QP101, this reference card has four fields, for better distribution along the gray scale.

The QPcard 102, when used at the beginning of a photo session can be used for colour checking and adjustment within most photo editing packages.

It is also suitable for exposure control and custom in-camera white balance setting.
