THE FRINGE FESTIVAL is in full flow and it’s not much of a surprise that one of the visitors of a busy bar where Emin was showing ten large-scale polaroids didn’t resist an urge to pocket one of them. Apparently attached just by a velcro, the self-portraits have already endured an unsuccessful theft attempt earlier that week.
Loft Bar exhibition coincides with Emin’s first major retrospective at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art in Edinburgh which consists of the artist’s works from the last two decades.
