THEIR CLOSE relationship of 10 years crystalised in a series of intimate portraits of the enigmatic artist, 46 of which are being exhibited at the Palm Springs Art Museum.
Nickolas Muray, a Hungarian photographer who came to New York in 1913, earned his living as a celebrity snapper, creating more than 10,000 portraits between 1920-1940.
