Heinrich Heiderberger

One of the most significant German photographers, Heinrich Heidersberger, died in Wolfburg two years ago, at the respectable age of 100.

THE LOCAL Kunstmuseum is now celebrating his career with a retrospective comprising of 170 photographs. Heidersberger’s speciality was depicting post-war modernist architecture and - then progressive - urban dreams of highways and skyscrapers.

The exhibition also includes his science style experimental photography of electric light effects and snowflakes.
