A smaller section of the Biennial, A World Where Many Worlds Fit, curated by Oliver Ressler, includes artists documenting and commenting on anti-globalisation movements. German artist Petra Gerschner’s History Is a Work in Process, uses snaps from Heiligendamm’s G8 summit’s protest, arranged as collages in a lighbox.

The American group, RTMARK, presents The Archimedes Project from 2001, a set of photographic documents from their intervention the G8 demonstration in Genoa, where they gave away thousands of little mirrors, creating a chaos of reflected sun beams.

Other artists include: Nevin Aladag, Ziad Antar, Yochai Ayrahami, Matei Bejenaru, Roderick Buchanan, Che Onejoon, Anetta Mona Chisa, Lucia Tkacova, Burak Delier, Didier Fiuza Faustino, Minja Gu, Trevor Paglen, Mario Rizzi, Mali Wu and others.
